| Marvel Select Hulk Coming this April
This past weekend Super Bowl watchers were treated to the new “Marvel’s The Avengers” trailer showing the heroes in action, including our first full look at the gargantuan Hulk. Well, the Marvel Select toy line has been making waves lately with its larger figures, which tower over other entries in the 7-inch-scale line, and last week they finally unveiled their movie version of the Hulk! Standing 8.25 inches tall, he stands a good inch taller than the rest of the movie-based Avengers DST has made, and features 16 points of articulation for a full range of smashing. He’s available for pre-order now from your local comic shop and from online retailers, as are Hawkeye and DST’s figure of one of the movie’s mystery foes!

| The New Marvel Select Green Goblin Takes on Spider-Man
Last week, Diamond Select showed you its new Marvel Select figure of Colossus in action, and now they’re showing off the Marvel Select figure that’s headed to stores next week. The Green Goblin stands 7 inches tall with 16 points of articulation, one interchangeable pumpkin bomb hand and a removable satchel, and his detailed Goblin Glider display base has an 8.5-inch wingspan and sits perched atop a coil of smoke. | Diamond Select Toys Celebrates 10 Years of the Marvel Select Line
Diamond Select Toys has released over 60 figures in their Marvel Select line, all in a consistent 7-inch scale, and the year 2012 marks the line’s tenth anniversary. To celebrate, DST has several great figures planned, including figures based on the movies “Marvel Studios’ The Avengers” and “The Amazing Spider-Man”, but the first figure to hit stores is Colossus! The X-Men mainstay who transforms into solid steel checks in at a towering 8.25 inches tall, and his 16 points of articulation give him a wide range of movement. To see how he stands up against another Marvel Select figure, we sent him and Gambit to the Danger Room, to get in some practice sparring. | Check Out Marvel Select’s New Hawkeye Figure
“Marvel’s The Avengers” is almost upon us, and Diamond Select Toys is building up the team in their Marvel Select action figure line!
First up is the Avengers’ newest recruit and the world’s greatest marksman, Hawkeye! Based on the likeness of actor Jeremy Renner, this seven-inch-scale Marvel Select figure comes with his trademark bow and arrows, and will look perfect alongside your other Select Avengers. Plus, he features 16 points of articulation, for a variety of action poses. Not shown is Hawkeye’s detailed display base–it combines with the base of our mystery movie villain figure to create a scene from the movie, and everything comes in oversized collector packaging, so you can show off the figure without opening it. But Hawkeye is only available on the specialty market, so pre-order him today through your local comic shop or favorite online retailer, and expect him to hit stores sometime in May. Avengers Movie Hulk and the movie’s mystery villain are also available for pre-order now, and Thor, Loki, WWII Captain America and the Red Skull are in stores now. This summer, “The Amazing Spider-Man” will bring fans a new villain, a new costume, a new Peter Parker and a new take on the wall-crawler’s origin. | New Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Minimates This Spring
Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Minimates Wave 1 is in stores now, with exclusive figures at both Toys “R” Us and comic shops/specialty stores, and Wave 2 should be arriving next month. But it’s almost time to pre-order Wave 3! Our next wave of MvC3 figures will hit in the Spring, and the line-up for the wave is packed with tons of all-stars. As usual, some of the two-packs are exclusive to the specialty market, some are at Toys “R” Us, and some are shared between the two. | Slingers In Stores Now
Upper Deck and Marvel Entertainment have teamed up to bring fans an exciting new collectible game, “Slingers.” The fast-paced game of skill and strategy pits two players against each other as they race to capture collectible medallions in an effort to score the most points and claim victory.
The Slinger itself is truly innovative as players use it in a similar fashion to a yo-yo, but the Slinger has a patented retractable mechanism and an “Invisible Energy Shield” that allows players to pick up collectible medallions if they “sling” it just right. If players sling the units too softly, they won’t get close enough to the medallions to pick them up. If they sling them too hard, the Slingers game units will register when it hits the ground–deducting points and potentially lives from the player. Once players master handling the Slinger, they will score big by and cash in by recovering medallions with high point totals. Both the Slinger and collectible medallions feature popular Marvel characters like the Avengers, Spider-Man, the X-Men, the Incredible Hulk and more. The collectible medallions are seeded at different ratios within packs and have different rarity levels and point values. Additionally, there area variety of different formats to play the Slingers game which makes it exciting for participants of all ages and skill levels. Gamers can find two different Marvel “Slingers” products exclusively in Toys ‘R’ Us retail stores and in select hobby shops. Starter Packs include one of six collectible “Slingers” game units, three collectible medallions and a game play manual. Blister packs include ten collectiblemedallions, including one rare medallion.
“’Slingers’ brings added activity to gaming, and once a player has a game unit in their hands they are hooked,” said Jason Masherah, Upper Deck’s vice president of Marketing. “The game is fast paced, exciting and fun; players are going to love it. Partnering with Marvel to bring their dynamic characters to gamers in a new way is very exciting for us. | Open Bottles with the Power of Thor
Beginning in early 2012, Diamond Select Toys will unleash a series of bottle openers based on some of your favorite Marvel super heroes. The first, with plans for release just after the New Year, is Thor’s Hammer Mjolnir. | Marvel Select: The Avengers’ Hawkeye & Hulk
Marvel Select fans have been anxiously waiting to hear which Marvel luminaries would be the next to bow in the seven-inch scale action figure line from Diamond Select Toys…and now, the wait is over. Although they aren’t yet allowed to show them in their entirety, DST is proud to announce that the next two figures will be Hawkeye and Hulk, from Joss Whedon’s upcoming “Marvel’s The Avengers” movie! Sculpted by Gentle Giant Studios, the figures feature the likenesses of Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye and Mark Ruffalo in his computer-generated Hulk persona. | Tonner Spotlight: Jean Grey and Emma Frost Dolls

Diamond Select Toys’ new wave of Marvel Minimates due out in January 2012 is based on a classic Spider-Man storyline all fans of the web-slinger will surely recognize. But we’re not giving it up that easy!
